Parking Details
We recommend, taking the Island Explorer shuttle when available to eliminate parking. All shuttles arrive to the Village Green on the corner of Main Street and Mount Desert Street in downtown Bar Harbor. It is a short walk to Oli’s Trolley- 1 West Street at the Harborplace Building. If you decide to drive into Bar Harbor please allow time and patience seeking out limited downtown parking. Oli’s Trolley does not provide any onsite parking.
Downtown Bar Harbor Parking
On street metered parking on West Street, Main Street, Cottage Street, and Mount Desert Street.
Parking for R.V ‘S available at the Ball Field, on the corner of Main St and Park St.
Lots with multi-space kiosk parking
- Town Pier Parking Lot.
- Parking Lot on the top of the Agamont Park.
- Parking lot behind the West Street Hotel accessible from Rodick Street off of West Street.
- Backyard lot located off Rodick Street parking lot accessible from Cottage Street and Rodick Street.
- Private pay to park lot at the Bar Harbor Club located at 111 West Street.
Cruise Ship Passenger tendering and tour check-in Information
- Bar Harbor is a tender port; please allow a minimum of 30 minutes for tender service ship to shore. Tender service will take you to Harbor Place building at 1 West Street, home of Oli’s Trolley Gift Shop, or Harborside Inn at 55 West Street, home of Oli’s Trolley Station, the starting point for all tours. The tendering destination is determined by the cruise line.
- Check in a minimum of 30 minutes prior to tour departure time
- Ticketing and check-in is available at either location. See map.
- International cruise passengers coming from Canada please allow extra time for customs and immigration. Please note we are in the Eastern Time Zone.
What to expect
- Restrooms are available at Oli’s Trolley Gift Shop, Oli’s Trolley Station and all the stops on our tours.
- Bring a sweater, or light jacket
- Wear comfortable shoes that are appropriate for outdoor activities
- Snacks and nonalcoholic drinks allowed on board which can be purchased at Oli’s Trolley Gift Shop
- Because our tours are fully narrated please limit talking to a whisper and turn off your cell phones for the enjoyment of our guests.
- Parents please monitor and control the behavior of your Children for the enjoyment of our guests.
Cancellation Policy
- A 24- hour notice along with your booking number is required for a full refund on individual trolley tickets on a public tour.
- For cruise ship passengers a full refund is available if your ship does not come into port. Guests will be responsible for contacting Oli’s Trolley @ 207 288 9899 and providing their booking number within 7 days of the tour date

No, Acadia National Park doesn’t accept individual pass on commercial tours.

No, there are restrooms at the trolley boarding location and every stop on the tour has a restroom available.

No we are not able to bring strollers or car seats on board the trolley tours. You can leave them at the trolley boarding station and we will keep an eye on them for you.
