Embarking on a sunrise or sunset tour with Oli’s Trolley offers a seamless and captivating way to experience the dawn of a new day from the highest point on the U.S. Atlantic coast. Or to capture a picturesque sunset alone the Maine coastline.

For our sunrise tours we depart from the 55 West Street location in Bar Harbor, guests board a comfortable tour van or trolley in the early morning darkness, completely bypassing the hassle of securing competitive vehicle reservations for the summit. As the vehicle winds its way up Cadillac Mountain, an expert guide provides an engaging live narration, weaving together the rich history, diverse geology, and local lore of Acadia National Park. Upon reaching the chilly, wind-swept peak, the guide helps visitors navigate the rocky terrain to secure the perfect vantage point. As the first light touches the nation, guests are treated to a spectacular, unobstructed view of the sun emerging over Frenchman Bay and the surrounding islands. After the main event, the tour grants 30 to 45 minutes of free time to walk the summit trails and photograph the breathtaking pink and golden landscapes before making the scenic descent back to town.

For our sunset tours we depart from the 55 West Street location in Bar Harbor, guests board a comfortable tour van or trolley and let us navigate entering the park and Cadillac Mt. You will have time to explore the summit and find the perfect location to watch the sunset along the beautiful coastline as the sun sets behind the hills and mountains of Maine.

Itinerary:
Arrive at top – 30 mins before sunrise
Watch sunrise and explore – 1.5 hrs
Return to Bar Harbor – 30 Mins before tour end.
